The variety belongs to the large-seeded type. The seeds have a light color, their shape varies from round to angular, and two seeds are usually formed in one pod. Plant height at the flowering stage is about 70 cm; flowering and maturity dates are medium.

The plants have strong stems and are resistant to lodging; ripe pods are not prone to shattering in the field. The variety is susceptible to Ascochyta blight and Fusarium wilt, but has natural protection against most pests due to glandular hairs that secrete acids, and is not damaged by the pea weevil.
