The variety belongs to the Kabuli type, distinguished by its large, light-colored seeds, and is used in the food industry. It is genetically characterized as a homozygous pure line.

The plant possesses resistance to Ascochyta blight and Fusarium wilt races 0 and 5. Studies note that the seeds may have a coarser texture after heat treatment, and the yield of the variety is characterized as less stable compared to a number of other genotypes.
