The variety Anconi (RZ 11-602) belongs to the smooth-leaf endive type. The plant has an upright habit, forms a well-filled heart, and has a strong root system adapted to challenging growing conditions.

The variety is mid-season and intended for cultivation in the summer and autumn periods. The produce is suitable both for fresh market sales and for industrial processing, including the production of fresh-cut salad mixes.
