The Aranza variety is characterized by an upright plant habit and the formation of a vigorous leaf rosette with good volume. Externally, the variety possesses broad leaves typical for Cichorium endivia var. latifolium, with a lighter and less bitter central part.

The plant is adapted for cultivation during the winter period and is intended for fresh consumption.
