The variety is a broad-leaved endive (escarole) that forms a very dense and well-closed head. A key feature is the ability to self-blanch, where the heart of the plant lightens on its own without the need for tying the leaves.

The variety is intended for sale in the fresh produce market and for use in the pre-cut salad industry. The plant is oriented towards autumn production, but possesses good adaptability to spring sowing and is suitable for cultivation almost throughout the entire year.
