The variety belongs to the curly endive group. The plant is distinguished by a high growth rate and an earlier harvest time compared to the Breedblad variety.

When grown in protected cultivation under glass, the variety shows good results in the spring period. It is also suitable for use in autumn-winter cultivation cycles, including overwintering in cold conditions. The variety forms a leaf rosette.
