The Vintor variety is an F1 hybrid created for obtaining high-quality heads. The plant is biennial; however, in agricultural cultivation, the growing cycle includes obtaining root crops in the first year followed by forcing the product in the absence of light.

The quality of the resulting heads directly depends on adherence to temperature regimes, as deviations from the norm during storage and forcing can lead to physiological defects such as leaf reddening or undesirable browning. The variety is characterized by a specific genotype response to external conditions, which makes it an object of study in research on the analysis of metabolic composition and nutritional value of the leaves.
