The plant forms dense elliptical-shaped heads, externally resembling Napa cabbage. The rosette is upright, 20–40 cm in height and up to 35 cm in diameter. Leaves are light green in color, featuring broad white petioles.

The variety is mid-early and characterized by a tender, crunchy leaf texture. It is intended for fresh consumption in salads and appetizers, as well as for quick heat treatment.

The plant is undemanding regarding soil type but requires regular watering. The variety is not intended for overwintering in open field conditions or traditional forcing. Sowing is carried out from spring until the end of summer for autumn harvest.
