The Sumero F1 variety belongs to the sugarloaf-type chicory group. The plant forms large cylindrical heads and is distinguished by high-quality leaves and petioles.

The growing period is 75–80 days. The variety possesses resistance to bolting in hot conditions and high resistance to cell cracking, and is suitable for short-term storage.

Intended for cultivation in open field from early summer to autumn. The harvest is suitable both for fresh market sales and for industrial processing.
