The variety forms uniform, compact, elongated heads 18–22 cm in height. The plant is characterized by a dark red color with a distinct white component. Readiness for harvest occurs 80–90 days after transplanting. The taste is typical for chicory, with a characteristic bitterness.

The plant is suitable for open field cultivation and possesses resistance to cold and bolting. When transplanting seedlings, it is recommended to leave about one-third of the root ball above the soil surface. Harvested heads are suitable for storage in cold conditions until mid-February.
