The variety is early-maturing with a growing season of no more than 125 days. The root is short, up to 25 cm in length and up to 9 cm in diameter in the upper part, which facilitates the use of machinery for harvesting in difficult soils. The plant forms few long and wide leaves.
The inulin content in the roots ranges from 12.0 to 30%, water content — 72–77%. The variety demonstrates low susceptibility to root rot, amounting to less than 2%. It is used in breeding work as a donor of valuable traits, as well as for industrial processing into inulin and as a coffee substitute.
