The variety belongs to the rosette chicory group and is characterized by the formation of compact rosettes with dark green leaves. The taste of the leaves is herbaceous, with a characteristic bitterness, the intensity of which depends on the degree of plant development.

The plant is considered hardy. Agrotechnics includes sowing in the summer period (June–July) with subsequent overwintering in the open field and harvesting in early spring. To accelerate the production in the spring, the use of covering material is possible.
