The mid-early hybrid Carmen F1 has a vegetation period of about 85 days. The plant forms round fruits weighing 11–13 kg with a dark green rind with blurred stripes of medium thickness. The flesh is dense, juicy, and crunchy, distinguished by a high sugar content. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation, possesses resistance to Fusarium and anthracnose, and is characterized by good transportability.

In niche catalogs, an alternative Carmen hybrid is found, which is an early yellow-skinned watermelon with barrel-shaped fruits weighing 3–5 kg. This variety is distinguished by scarlet flesh, the presence of a firm rind, and resistance to cracking.
