KINNOW LS
ActiveCitrus reticulata Blanco · Mandarin orange
Timothy Williams
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the early-maturing category, with fruits ripening between October and December. The plant has a naturally compact growth habit, which allows for cultivation in containers; when using rootstocks such as Flying Dragon, tree growth is further restricted.
Medium to large fruits have a sweet taste and are easy to peel. Their biochemical composition shows a high content of carotenoids, in particular β-cryptoxanthin. The variety exhibits resistance to leaf and fruit spot caused by the fungus Pseudocercospora angolensis.
