Variety description

The hybrid was obtained by crossing the Fortune mandarin with the tetraploid Avana mandarin. The variety is for fresh consumption; fruits are harvested between February and April.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth; the canopy has a weeping shape with drooping branches, which can be thorny. Fruits are medium-sized, about 100 g, and oblate in shape. The thin, bright orange peel separates easily from the juicy and sweet flesh.

Due to its triploid nature, the variety is sterile, so the fruits are usually seedless. The fruits hold well on the tree, are not prone to drying out, and are suitable for long-term storage due to their high acidity level.
