The variety is a triploid mandarin hybrid bred to obtain the commercially significant trait of seedlessness. The parent forms are the Fortune and Kara varieties.
The fruits are large, reaching 60–70 mm in diameter, have an orange-red peel, and are easy to peel. The variety is mid-late: the harvest period occurs from January to the second half of February, with the fruits reaching optimal maturity by the beginning of February.
