The rootstock is a hybrid of Troyer citrange and common mandarin. It belongs to the category of dwarf rootstocks and is capable of reducing the dimensions of the grafted tree by 50% compared to standard rootstocks, which allows its use in high-density orchards.

The use of the rootstock contributes to improving fruit quality, including increased juice content, higher color index, and reduced peel thickness. The plant is resistant to Citrus tristeza virus, but shows susceptibility to Phytophthora, citrus nematode, and calcareous soils, with intermediate resistance to salinity.
