The plant is a perennial deciduous vine with pinnate dark green leaves. Stem height reaches 3 meters. Flowering occurs in late summer and early autumn; the flowers are characterized by a large size and a reddish-pink hue with a lighter underside of the petals.

The variety is suitable for cultivation on loamy, sandy loam, clay, or sandy soils with a neutral or alkaline reaction. The plant prefers areas with sun to partial shade and is used for vertical landscaping.
