The flowers of the variety are upward-facing, have a flat shape, and up to 12 elliptical sepals with wavy edges and pointed tips. The height of the plant's shoots can range from 0.4–0.6 m to 1.2–1.5 m.

The plant is a deciduous climbing vine. It is officially registered in the International Clematis Register and Checklist.
