Deciduous clematis intended for vertical gardening, reaching a height of up to 3 meters. Belongs to the late-flowering large-flowered clematis group according to the RHS classification.

Flowers are flat, directed upwards or outwards. The inner side of the sepals is red-purple, the outer side is pale purple-pink. There are usually 6 sepals, they have a broadly elliptic shape, slightly wavy margins, and overlap each other by half. Buds are erect, pale green, filament is pinkish-white, connective is dark crimson. Flowering begins in early summer.
