Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 0.5 to 1.8 m. Large flowers with a diameter of 15–16 cm have a flat shape and a purple-violet color with a darker stripe in the center of each of the 6 sepals. The leaves are dark green, simple or ternate, and are arranged oppositely on the shoots.

The variety requires fertile, moderately moist and permeable soils with a pH level of 5.5–6.5. For maintenance, light spring pruning and protection of the root system from overheating are recommended. The variety is not fully frost-hardy.
