The plant reaches a height of 100–150 cm; in container conditions, the height can be 70–90 cm. The flowers are solitary, 10–15 cm in diameter, with fewer than 15 dark purple sepals. The scent of the variety is weak or absent.

Flowering lasts from May to October. The variety is winter hardy and is suitable for decorating arches, supports, balconies, and terraces, and can also be used in combination with roses.
