The plant is a compact climber intended for cultivation in containers, on terraces, or in small gardens. The foliage is green, deciduous. The height of the bush varies from 120 to 200 cm.

The flowers are bright red, velvety, with brown anthers. The spring flowers are larger than those of late summer and autumn. Flowering occurs on current and previous year's shoots; the main period falls on late spring and early summer with a second wave at the end of the season.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3: it is recommended to prune the shoots annually to 20 cm from the soil level. Frost resistance corresponds to USDA zones 4–9.
