Variety description

10 August 2026

Deciduous vine, reaching a height of 1.2 to 2.0, rarely up to 3.0 meters. The leaves have a heart shape and often a purple tint. The plant is characterized by compact or moderate growth, suitable for container cultivation and small gardens.

Flowers are of medium size, 8–10 cm in diameter, double. Color is dark violet or plum-red, often with cream or light speckles in a marbled pattern. The flowering period lasts from June to September–October.

The variety belongs to the 3rd pruning group, as it blooms primarily on the current year's shoots. In publications, it is sometimes mentioned as part of the Clematis florida group, which implies the need for winter protection in regions with harsh winters.
