The variety is a deciduous woody vine 2–2.5 meters in height. The plant forms large double rosette-shaped flowers, the size of which reaches 10–25 cm. The petals are colored lilac-pink with a darker crimson or reddish-lilac stripe in the center, sometimes with greenish shades.
Flowering occurs in two waves: the first in May–June on last year's shoots, the second in August–September on current-year shoots. The variety is sterile and does not set seeds. The flowers maintain their ornamental value for up to 4–6 weeks; after the outer petals fall off, a central double pompon remains on the plant.
The clematis belongs to pruning group 2, is winter hardy, and withstands climate zones 4–9. The crop requires shading of the root zone and may be susceptible to diseases typical for the genus, such as wilt and powdery mildew. It is used for vertical landscaping and container cultivation.
