Variety description

The variety belongs to the Viticella group and is a vigorous vine reaching a height of 2–3 meters when grown in open field. The plant has pinnate dark green foliage and is intended for decorating trellises, pergolas, and fences, and is also suitable for container cultivation.

Flowers 6–9 cm in diameter have a purple-violet color with dark veins; the shape varies from semi-double in early spring flowers to simple in summer ones. Flowering occurs profusely on current-year shoots in the period from June to October. The variety has high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to USDA zone 6.
