Variety description

The variety is a compact shrub about 1 meter high with semi-erect dark violet stems. The flowers are small, 3–5 cm in diameter, have a bell shape with twisted petals that are directed upwards or to the sides when opening.
The plant belongs to the 3rd pruning group: current-year shoots require strong shortening in March to 10 cm above soil level. The variety is winter hardy, withstands the climatic conditions of USDA zones 4–5, and is not capable of clinging to supports on its own.
Due to its shape, the variety is suitable for container cultivation, use in the foreground of flower beds, or as a groundcover plant. If a vertical shape is required, tying up the shoots is necessary.
