The plant is an upright shrub with an unusual leaf shape, resembling tassels or brushstrokes. Leaf coloration includes combinations of green, yellow, red, and orange colors, as well as copper, pink, brown shades, and ivory.

The variety has relatively compact dimensions, reaching 90–120 cm in height under favorable conditions. The plant is sensitive to temperature fluctuations, cold drafts, and waterlogging; with insufficient lighting, the intensity of leaf coloration decreases. It poses a toxic hazard if ingested.
