The plant has an upright form and branches actively, which allows for the formation of a dense crown. The leaves are linear, elongated, with a pointed tip, and the margins are without undulation or lobes. In indoor cultivation conditions, the plant height is typically 50–70 cm.
The foliage color is variegated, characterized by yellow variegation between the veins while maintaining green veins; orange and red shades are also present. The plant is sensitive to sudden changes in environmental conditions, such as drafts or relocation, which can provoke leaf drop.
