The variety is distinguished by an unusual leaf shape—they are strongly twisted and curled, which is why the plant is mentioned in some sources as a variant of the Ram's Horn cultivar. The main background of the leaf blades is green, complemented by yellow spots or veins.

The plant is used as a decorative crop for indoor or garden use, and is sometimes found for sale in the form of shaped bonsai. To maintain the brightness of the coloration, the variety requires bright diffused or direct lighting, regular watering as the top layer of soil dries out, and a drained substrate.

This variety is poisonous to humans and pets.
