The plant is a shrub with stiff, sword-shaped leaves gathered into a rosette. The foliage color varies in shades of burgundy, dark red, pink, and creamy white, changing depending on lighting and the age of the plant.

In indoor cultivation, the plant height ranges from 60 to 150 cm. The variety is resistant to wind and exposure to salty sea air, and blooms with small white or pale pink flowers. Winter hardiness corresponds to zones 8b–10, requiring protection from temperatures below -8...-10°C.
