The plant reaches a height of 2–3 meters and is valued for maintaining bright foliage color throughout the year with sufficient lighting. The variety is suitable for container cultivation, creating borders, or use as a specimen plant.
The variety is moderately winter hardy and tolerates temperature drops down to -5°C. Among potential problems, susceptibility to leafroller caterpillars and a fungal disease known as 'manuka blight' is noted.
