The plant is an erect perennial 30–50 cm in height, forming compact clumps. Foliage is lacy, deeply dissected, glaucous green with bronze shades on leaves and stems. Flowers are large, tubular, bright blue with a white throat, possessing a honey scent.
The variety is characterized by prolonged flowering: the main wave occurs in April–May, with a possible repeat wave in late summer and autumn. The plant does not enter a state of pronounced summer dormancy, maintaining ornamental quality throughout the season. It belongs to winter-hardy varieties (climate zone 5) and possesses sturdy stems.
