The plant is a vigorous shrub 4–6 meters tall with a dense, wide, and upright crown. The variety is a hybrid of Corylus avellana and Corylus maxima, suitable for use as decorative hedges and windbreaks.
The fruits have a broad-conical shape, and their mass is 4–5 g. The shell is thick, and the kernel yield ranges from 42 to 45%. The nuts have a sweet taste and a long shelf life, during which the kernels practically do not shrink.
The variety matures from mid-September to early October. It possesses high winter hardiness of the wood and inflorescences, as well as resistance to the bud mite and the nut weevil. It is self-infertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties, while being considered one of the best pollinators for other varieties itself.
