The variety was obtained as a result of crossing one late-maturing local European form and two American lines with subsequent selection for agronomic traits. In the documentation, the variety is also listed under the code designation 9110-20.

The plants have a pubescent surface. The seed oil contains nervonic acid. Due to its short development cycle, the variety is intended for industrial use as a source of vegetable oil with a high erucic acid content and is promising for inclusion in crop rotations of the Mediterranean climate.
