The plant is a vining crop with vine lengths from 0.9 to 3 meters. This late-maturing variety ripens in 85–120 days and is well adapted to hot and dry climates.
Round or oval fruits weighing 2.7–3.6 kg have a wrinkled rind that turns golden-yellow upon ripening. The juicy flesh is cream-white in color and has a sweet taste with spicy or cucumber notes.
The fruits are firm, which ensures good keeping quality until winter. Because the fruits do not detach from the vine on their own, they are harvested manually when the lower part of the fruit softens.
