Deltex melon, also known by the code Num 6275, belongs to the pineapple-type melon Cucumis melo ssp. melo var. reticulatus. The fruits are round or oval in shape, with a netted surface and no ribs. The average fruit weight is 1.3–1.4 kg, the flesh is white.
The plant has vigorous growth. The hybrid is characterized by resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis, races 0 and 2) and powdery mildew (Podosphaera xanthii, race 1). It is used as a commercial variety and as a parental line in breeding research.
