Deneb melon is a Galia type hybrid. The variety was developed for the needs of the modern market and is focused on commercial production with subsequent supplies to European countries.

In studies of fruit quality indicators, the content of soluble solids was noted in the range from 9.3% to 10.4% depending on the maturity stage. In tests for resistance to the whitefly Bemisia tabaci biótipo B, the variety showed a high level of colonization by insects.
