The Karman F1 melon belongs to the Charentais type and is characterized by high fruit quality. The hybrid is intended for late-season cultivation. The fruits have the ability to retain their marketability for a long time in open field conditions.
The sugar content in the fruits is 14–15%, in individual cases reaching 20%. The plant possesses good resistance to powdery mildew. The hybrid is oriented toward commercial cultivation to satisfy the needs of producers and retailers.
