The Merak melon hybrid belongs to the Galia type. In agricultural trials, the variety demonstrates high productivity and quality indicators of fruit caliber.

As part of entomological studies, the variety was used as one of the samples to study resistance to the whitefly Bemisia tabaci. The variety is included in official state catalogs of agricultural crops.
