The variety belongs to the reticulated melon group (retato italiano) and is characterized by a medium maturity group. The plant has balanced development and high growth vigor.

The fruits are covered with a pronounced netting on the rind. The firm orange flesh has good taste qualities and a high sugar content, which, combined with firmness, ensures keeping quality after harvest.

The variety possesses genetic resistance to aphids due to the VAT gene, and also exhibits tolerance to high doses of sulfur.
