Fruits of the Pele de Sapo type have a dark green, uneven rind, often with yellowish streaks or netting. The flesh is firm, juicy, ranging from white to pale green or cream, and is distinguished by a high sugar content. This type is characterized by exceptional keeping quality and is intended for fresh consumption.
The hybrid Sapomiel F1 is mid-late, maturing in 75–85 days from transplanting. The fruits are oval-shaped with slight ribbing and weigh from 2.5 to 3.5 kg. The white-colored flesh contains 14–15% sugar on the Brix scale. The hybrid is distinguished by resistance to powdery mildew, the ability of the fruits to not crack during excess moisture, and high transportability.
