The variety belongs to the Western Shipper type. The fruits have a medium size, round shape, reticulated rind with weakly expressed sutures, and a small seed cavity. The fruit flesh is dark orange and is characterized by a high Brix sugar content.
The plant possesses resistance to powdery mildew (races 1 and 2), downy mildew, and Fusarium wilt (races 0 and 2). Studies on resistance to Verticillium wilt were also conducted in lines genetically related to this variety.
