The Sapiel F1 hybrid belongs to the Piel de Sapo (toad skin) type. The fruits have a traditional appearance with characteristic mottled skin coloration and white, extremely sweet flesh with a sugar content of about 11.00° Brix.
The average fruit weight is about 2 kg, with individual cases recorded up to 2.85 kg. The plant is noted for high hardiness and adaptability. The variety has resistance to Fusarium oxysporum races 0, 1, and 2 and is suitable for cultivation in open field and film greenhouses.
