The hybrid Springfield F1 belongs to the long-fruited cucumber type. The plant is characterized by balanced growth, an open bush type, and the ability to tolerate low light conditions, which simplifies care in greenhouse conditions.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape, dark green color, and a slightly ribbed surface. The length of the cucumbers is 28–34 cm. The produce has good keeping quality and high marketability.

The variety has high resistance to leaf spot (Ccu) and moderate resistance to cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), cucumber vein yellowing virus (CVYV), and powdery mildew (Px). Recommended for heated greenhouses; planting is possible from January to July depending on the region.
