The variety is intended exclusively for professional greenhouse vegetable production as a rootstock, providing additional vigor, cold tolerance, increased yield, and improved fruit quality of the scion. The use of the rootstock prevents infestation by soil-borne pathogens, in particular, Fusarium wilt.

The plant possesses intermediate resistance to Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Papaya ringspot virus (PRSV), and Fusarium wilt (Foc). Agrotechnology includes sowing seeds at a temperature of no lower than 20 °C, while cucumber sowing is recommended 4–5 days before sowing the rootstock.
