The hybrid is the result of crossing Cucurbita maxima and Cucurbita moschata. The plant is characterized by early development and balanced growth without excessive vegetative mass.

This hybrid is resistant to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, and Pythium. Its use as a rootstock increases the yield of grafted crops, improves their tolerance to low soil temperatures, and enables cultivation on saline or infected soils without loss of fruit flavor quality.
