The hybrid is an interspecific combination of Cucurbita maxima and Cucurbita moschata. It is intended exclusively for grafting vegetable crops to increase their adaptability to soil conditions and to transfer increased vigor to the scion.

The plant has high resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum) and soil-borne pathogens. The vertical orientation of the roots ensures good tolerance to drought and heat, and also allows the rootstock to be used in both high and low temperature conditions.

The crop is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, including medium-heavy and sandy soils, and is suitable for early planting dates.
