The plant has a compact bush form with a small number of side shoots. Characteristic features are rounded light green fruits, sometimes with slight ribbing. The fruit flesh is light, firm, and tender in taste.

The variety is early and requires cultivation in sunny areas protected from wind with fertile soil. It is recommended to harvest fruits at a young age when their diameter is 10–15 cm and the skin remains thin.

This variety is a traditional cultural heritage of the Tuscany region and belongs to the category of heirloom varieties. The fruits are versatile in cooking: they are used for stuffing, frying, stewing, and pickling.
