The variety is early-maturing; fruits reach technical maturity 50–55 days after emergence. The plant forms a bush that may show a tendency toward weak vining as it grows.
The fruits have a spherical shape, their skin is colored light green and covered with a marbled pattern or small light spots. The flesh is white, firm, and tender. For consumption, fruits with a diameter of 10–12 cm, corresponding to the size of a tennis ball or an orange, are recommended.
The variety is versatile for culinary use: its round shape makes it convenient for stuffing and baking; it is also suitable for frying and salads when young. The plant's flowers are also edible. The variety is suitable for seed saving, however, it requires spatial isolation from other cucurbit crops to avoid cross-pollination and the development of bitterness in the fruits.
